  121. Kith and Kin was gradually eating up system resources, leading to
  122. insufficient memory after long sessions. This has been fixed.
  123.  
  124. The maximum number of generations for Descendant and Ancestral Tree
  125. prints has been increased to 80.
  126.  
  127. An overlap occurred in Descendant and Ancestral Tree prints where a
  128. person had an empty record. This has been fixed.
  129.  
  130. Print setup no longer changes the system default. Any changes are local
  131. to the current K&K session.
  132.  
  133. It is no longer possible to make the a single person appear more than
  134. once as a child of a single family. Similarly for marriages in Person
  135. Data.

  137. You can now specify a Person or Family code in the Range|From field of a
  138. Person or Family Details print which does not exist. Kith and Kin will
  139. skip to the next valid code.

  147. This product is SHAREWARE. The version on this release disk is a fully
  148. functional evaluation copy which you may install and use free of charge
  149. for 30 days. After that time, if you wish to continue using the program

  151. available in the on-line help. If you have been using an earlier version
  152. of Kith and Kin some of your tree (.TRE) and options (.OPT) files may
  153. require conversion before they can be used with this version. A data
  154. file conversion program is included with all registered versions of Kith
  155. and Kin.

  200. Copy all files from the release disk into a new directory (eg. KITHKIN)
  201. on your hard disk.
  202.  
  203. Run KITHKIN.EXE from the File Manager or create a new program item in
  204. the Program Manager and double click on the Kith and Kin icon. You can
  205. launch Kith and Kin from a Tree File (.TRE) if you have associated .TRE
  206. files with KITHKIN.EXE in the File Manager. The program (.EXE), help
  207. (.HLP) and options (.OPT) files must all reside in the same directory.
  208.  
  209. To get you off to a flying start using Kith and Kin, read the help topic
  210. "Getting Started". This will lead you through the basics.
  211.  
  212. The file BWCC.DLL should reside in either the KITHKIN or WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  213. directories or in another directory in your PATH. Since it is a common
  214. DLL you may already have it on your system in which case you need only
  215. one copy available.
